June 12th, 2016 will be a morning we will never forget. It is heartbreaking to hear of tragic senseless loss especially in the city of magic. A city of inspiration since we were children as the place to enter a world of dreams, magic, joy, adventure, love, and that wishes can come true. A place where monsters in the dark did not exist. This positive illusion was shattered yesterday morning as terror struck in the heartland of our most magical city.
Today we mourn the loss of our fellow Americans, however, it is incredible to see the support & magic in numbers of all races, ages, creeds, orientations & colors that came from the Orlando community. Their actions speak volumes and are inspiring, more than any words of comfort can say. Let's follow by their example. If you do not live in the Orlando area, but can donate blood, you can still do something good for someone in your community, especially if you are a universal blood donor. Our actions will be a shining example that we as a nation care, are behind our brothers and sisters, and we still believe in the power and dreams that the very city of Orlando inspires. If you want to join in this positive movement, in support of our Orlando victims, their families, the Orlando community & your country, then click this link to make your appointment today: https://www.oneblood.org/ . Get your office involved as well. A small act of kindness can go a long way, be a superhero and take a proactive stand today.
